When you hear the roar of Jeep engines early in the morning, you know something exciting is about to happen. This time, Cyprus on Wheels joined Jeep Club Cyprus for a noble cause: raising funds and awareness for cancer research with PASYKAF. The event was a perfect blend of off-road enthusiasm, community spirit, and charity.
The day began bright and early at the GSZ Stadium, our designated meeting point. As Jeeps of all models and vintages rolled in, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation. Coffee Blinders, a local favorite, ensured everyone was fueled with top-notch coffee, making those early hours more enjoyable. The camaraderie was palpable as participants exchanged stories, tips, and laughs.
By noon, the convoy was ready to roll. The sight of our procession snaking through Larnaca was nothing short of spectacular. We cruised through the city, passing through the iconic Finikoudes . With a convoy stretching a kilometer long, judging by the waves I got while riding in the back of the leader car we certainly turned some heads.
Our journey ended at Ammos Beach Bar, a perfect spot to relax and celebrate. One of the day’s highlights was the flex ramp set up at the beach bar. Watching the Jeeps show off their suspension capabilities was thrilling and a hit among the attendees. Each vehicle that mounted the ramp showcased the engineering prowess and rugged durability that Jeep enthusiasts cherish.
Adding to the excitement, CIC, the official Jeep dealer of Cyprus, had a display booth at the bar. This was a golden opportunity for everyone to check out the latest Jeep models and get up close with the brand’s newest offerings. It was a great addition that further cemented the strong relationship between the Jeep community and its supporters.
The event was not just about Jeeps; it was about community. Conversations flowed easily, fueled by shared interests and a common goal. The event was also dog-friendly, which added to the friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Seeing everyone come together for a good cause was truly heartwarming.
