If you need further proof that men are simple creatures, take this event as an example.
How interesting can drinking coffee in a parking lot on a Sunday morning be?
Well, with good coffee and tasteful cars. A lot!
This event was organized by Stephanos and Stephanos (Just, to keep things simple) from the Instagram car page Kickdown at Tiramisu cafe in the heart of Nicosia.
After running late from shooting ”this land rover” I thought I would just enjoy my Pineapple juice (surprisingly tasted great) and leave the photos to Stephanos/ @stephanfocus, which as you will see did a bloody awesome job of capturing the event.
The cars
As usual, the majority of the attendance was from the VAG family. You can’t argue that Golf’s offer a good amount of performance, comfort and style for their price.
If price is not an issue, they do offer proper performance cars as well as this boosted TT rs kindly displayed.
The other usual is the mx5, the answer to all questions, probably even the meaning of life for some. The little roadster is still affordable despite the JDM tax.
As my companion states, they are adorable. And it’s kinda hard to argue. Despite the looks not being my cup of coffee, I do appreciate the amazing chassis that made the Mazda so reputable.
Speaking of timeless design, I did bring the old girl out on this occasion, stay tuned and you may see a spotlight in the future.
A fellow E30 owner did what everyone expected an E30 to do . Proceeded to leave a fat skid mark on his way out. I don’t agree, with this sort of behaviour in public. But burnouts are fun.
The love for the machine
As I previously did an article in the past on what it takes to host an event. This event checked out all the boxes.
Therefore, I want to congratulate the guys from Kickdown, That despite being based in Limassol put an effort to host this type of event around Cyprus. Without having any profit other than the love for the machine.
